West Ham fans have been a problem for a while. The club should splash out on more policing.

The sad thing is this will probably harm those who want safe standing.

Football is barely humoured by the powers that be as it is and this after the amount of money it has swishing around. West Ham's shenanigans won't make the outlook on it any better.

I think safe standing is a go, though. Other clubs who have decent stewarding do want it. They want the atmosphere similar to what the Bundesliga has.

I think Sky and BT underestimate how well regarded the radio coverage is by fans. It's got a history, it's free, it's accessible from anywhere, and it's good commentary.
