Lol, OP, it's Swansea 1 - Man City 1, not Man United.

Though I can see why United would be on your mind after yesterday's debacle!

I've had this bloody song stuck in my head for days. Northern Ireland better take him to the Euros.

So, Karius is going to Liverpool (deal all but done according to Kicker, 10 mil buyout clause), and Leverkusen's getting Baumgartlinger for 4 mil (what a bargain!). At least Mainz will have some time to find replacements before Europa. Gonna be though tho, I wonder how they'll cope without Heidel, those some big shoes to fill.

YES! We have a goalkeeper! jazzypom May 16 2016, 14:24:49 UTC
Lord knows, Migs and Bogan have been dire. Ward is decent, but too young and untested at this level.

Karius is definitely an improvement on Mings and had a pretty great season. That's an awesome deal for Liverpool.

Karius is absolute quality and Mainz got to the EL this season. Great buy for Liverpool and I think he'll do well under Kloppo. Poor Migs though, I have a soft spot for the guy.

So Wenger probably gets another two year contract extension on the back of this, then

Right, the only reason he'll get an extension is because we finished above Spurs, not because this is our best league finish since 2005 and we've got CL yet again.

Anyway, Spurs and their smug fans deserve this. One decent season and they were acting like they're fucking Barca. Even Man City's fans weren't this bad. I feel sorry for Poch because he can only do so much. His players let him down.

A fortnight ago: "Leicester don't deserve to finish first. We play better football."
Yeaterday: "The scum don't deserve to finish second!"

So much whining and snobbery. Not just their supporters, but the Spurs apologists in the media who've been singing their praises and now are snidely chastising AFC for celebrating St. Tot's. Listen, we know we had a shit season, we're not content with coming second. We're just laughing at how the spuds still conspired to finish below us in what was our worst season in recent memory and what was supposed to be their breakthrough season.

You never win with Arsenal, eh? First it was "9 years without a trophy!!!" and then after we won the FA Cup two years in a row, it became, "The FA Cup is meaningless, Arsenal haven't won the league since the Invincibles!" and then when we do win the league, it'll be "Never won the CL." I wonder what they'll say if we win the treble.

Meanwhile, Spurs coast by on decades of mediocrity and one decent season suddenly turns them into the so-called saviours of English football. Serves them right.
