I can see Mou's Manchester link being true jazzypom February 11 2016, 14:40:35 UTC
He's gone on record saying that he doesn't want to leave England and likes the competition of the PL. Mourinho has lusted after Manchester United as a position to his CV as well. So yeah, I can see it. But I can see why Manchester United are a bit standoffish but both parties need each other.

I just thought they wanted Ferguson 2.0

Manchester United also want to win, dominate and the rest of it. I guess if they have Mourinho, he can get the winning stuff in whilst they work on the background issues (the academy for one!).

Some tidbits:

Mignolet told German journalists that Klopp treats them like a father. He's always at their sides and wants them to be a family. He eats breakfast with them and is on the pitch like an additional player. He's a positive man and gives them lots of trust, and he's honest. They can laugh a lot with him, but training and playing they are 100 percent focused. Aww...

Meanwhile, Klopp is annoyed at jokes about his English mistakes, particularly when the media uses his mistakes to make a statement sound more dramatic, rather than correcting the error. He says that it helps though that he "doesn't give a shit". He also dislikes the superficial way both English and German media report on German players and managers abroad. But he's glad that the hype and the paparazzi have become a bit less, so he can go walk the dog again.

And Sammer is complaining bitterly about Bochum's coach Verbeek for "discrediting" Robben (related to the penalty with red card). Verbeek had said that he was normally proud to be a Dutchman, but it was ( ... )

Excellent news report! Were the Bochum fans singing "Ohne Holland" to annoy Robben perhaps? It is pretty rude to do that to your own manager.

I read an article the other day claiming that Vidal has not really lived up to expectations after a good start in Munich. And he did have that drunk driving crash, which made me wonder.

Now I really want a photo of Juergen walking his dog. :p

Yes, they definitely meant Robben. Still not nice.

Towards the end, they also sang "Alle, alle, alle auf die Zehn" ("everyone on the 10" in a "go get him" way), referring to Robben. He was asked about it in the interview and was quite mellow about it though.
