Santi Solari as assistant? He's beautiful (does punditry work here sometimes for ESPN), and Zidane's beautiful.

Madrid's technical area just got an upgrade looks-wise. All part of the Real Madrid brand.

Not surprisingly, the players have escaped criticism. I said this yesterday, Rafa's tactics were not great but this group of players, some of the best in the world, should shoulder some of the responsibility for this. They played badly too.

And then there's the question of losing the dressing room. Rafa lost the dressing room, Mou lost the dressing room, okay fine. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Pellers have problems in the dressing room as well?

Rafa was doomed from the start. Save for a few, most journos, supporters and bystanders were not convinced he was good enough for the job...maybe some players felt similarly too? I feel bad for Rafa, but maybe the job really shouldn't have been awarded to him in the first place? \_(ツ)_/¯

I do agree with you that journalists should at least honestly look at their performances but I can't help but think that if they don't agree with Perez, I can understand they boycot his plans. Look at the way Perez kicked out Özil and Di Maria despite great performances. So why should the players behave better than Flo?

Nope. But neither did Pep when he went from Barca B to the senior team.

Basically, we're all waiting to see if he can be another Guardiolaesque success story. If not, I can see Zizou coming out of this unscathed.
