LJ even blocked me from doing posts a couple of times this week, but I have been on some wretched internet. Not necessarily dial up, but close, you know? I cross my fingers and hope for the best when posting!

A bit selective with the De Bruyne tidbit there now, haha. If I hadn't re-read the '2014/15' part, I would've protested Benitez-style because O.Ozil is still King of Assists in Europe this season.

And am I the only one who thinks the "crisis" in Man United is an overreaction? :/ Feels like a lot of fans expect every United manager to be like Fergie right off the bat which is an unreasonable expectation. I know there are some fans out there who are not as harsh on LvG, at least.... But who am I, a madridista, to say United are overreacting with their disappointment over their coach? lol

I think Prince Harry got 20+ assists last season and he has six this season.

I agres with you, it's stupid of Man Utd to sack Thumbsh now. He was brought to rebuild the squad and granted, they're not playing well, but they're still strong contenders for top 4. And I fully expect Spurs' quest for top 4 to fizzle out at some point (as it is wont to happen every year) so United look best to grab the fourth place.

NGL, I hope Spurs get into the top 4 jazzypom December 28 2015, 13:25:35 UTC
For the sake of the English players.

Because if Spurs can do that, the English players in the lower leagues can only benefit in terms of getting talent for relatively cheap (Dele Alli was bought for £5 million) instead of looking abroad and our boys not even getting a sniff at first team action. As it stands now, there are about 13 English players on Spurs team, and their coach mostly puts out five or so English men in the first 11. For a Sky 6 team, that's big.
