So I can't see what he said re: ManU, but I suspect it wasn't as mean as it sounds quoted, if it's from the NT press conference. Spain needed to move beyond David Villa, tbh. They used him enough at the Euros and the World Cup. From what I've seen, more than a striker (and Diego Costa is pretty awful at the international level), VdB needs to come up with new tactics since practically every decent team has figured out his old ones.

I agree with that (tbh VdB should have made a transition from the old generation to the new one, not just jump from one to another when forced, tho), I just wish he had gotten a nicer farewell. :(

The doctors at FIFA want to make sure that the rules are clearly defined with the protocol for Doctors and their duty of care to players. It's not Mourinho in trouble per se, that's for the local football body (FA) to work it out, and the FA hasn't really done anything much. There hasn't even been a quibble of a lawsuit from Caniero's end, so... we'll see.

That picture of Mikel and Jagielka, is it recent? IIRC, the England team used to train at the Arsenal training ground. Dunno if they still do.

Apparently, Arsenal Supporters Trust are pissed that we've spent the least out of the top clubs in Europe. The Wenger Out crowd have made their annual comeback. Those pictures of Raul Garcia's farewell reminded me of something: what an ass del Bosque is. How Gabi (and Mikel, for that matter too) has never been called up even once to the Spain NT is beyond me. They could have used him as a backup to Biscuit when he was shit during the World Cup.
