In the pre-match analysis everyone is talking about Brugge needing miracle and how big the difference is between the Belgian league and the EPL. And after the match everyone is disappointed about seeing how big the difference in level really is. Ah well.

The teams who lost the play-offs of the CL are into the EL group stage.

I think the only player who made it at Chelsea after a loan, is Courtois.

Since I'm Belgian, I'm obviously cheering on Gent, champions for the first time last season. They have the 3rd lowest coefficient so they might as well get slaughtered. All players want to draw Barca, if only to be on the same field as Messi, really that's his status.

This is pretty awesome. The WDR (Western German radio/TV station) radio orchestra recorded fan songs of the Bundesliga clubs in the area (Dortmund, Schalke, Leverkusen, Köln, Gladbach), playing in the stands with actual fans singing.
