Welk well. It'll be strange to see Sergio in Man Utd. Of course the agent of DDG wants a transfer. He gets a percentage of the fee. Schweinsteiger's partner is Ana Ivanovic. I'd say he's the most famous HAB? Or what's the equivalent of WAG?
And while they're still not talking (which is their right and probably a good way of handling things), they've been "officially" together to the opening event in Wimbledon. On the photos, she's taller than him, which I think is nice.
Thomas Müller was asked about transfers and so on in a press conference. When they asked him about Schweinsteiger's future, he said "I don't know where the women's tennis tour is travelling right now". Heh.
also, lmao, i thought Guidetti was Scottish for some reason
(the reason probably being seeing a Celtic match or two this past season- and there's an odd number of Scottish Italians- not in football but in general anyway)

Finally OT but England finally has hot weather and I'm stuck at work. Guess what the forecast is for the weekend? RAIN! Ugh :'(
Rubbish! That's the only time my SO and I have a chance to hang out together and hike! I guess we'll have to suck it up and hike then?
Also OP, are you getting headaches from the heat or just general headaches? Rest up!Idek, actually. I normally like the heat, but that's a thought. I'm going to drinking more water, and nibbling at fruit just to keep myself hydrated. Thanks for that. You're making me do a mental MOT for the summer days

Where I am in the South east, it's meant to be nice on Saturday and heavy rain on Sunday - typical 'great' British weather!! I like an evening walk after dinner but I've been lazy lately, need to get back to it

I've had quite a few headaches lately since the weather has got really hot - I never usually do but we went from 15 degrees to 25 degrees in a couple of days and I think the swift temperature change has affected me. I've been drinking loads of water but I've had those dull aching headaches that don't ease without a tablet!
OMG! Same! We mustn't complain about the weather though. I try not to complain about the heat and sun because we get both so seldom. It's pants when the great weather is in the week, and rainy all weekend. Just as well, I have forms and applications to fill out. But still. Pants. The good thing is, the family isn't eating as much anymore, so I don't have to cook as much. Some fruit and yoghurt and they're fine. Or some interesting veggie salads (thanks, pinterest!).
Yes the Ramos rumours are circling, I am wondering how he would adapt to the current Man Utd team... I reckon Ramos is more likely to leave than Benzema. Apart from romancing Rihanna (girl open your eyes you can do MUCH better) I don't think Benzema

U21 euro final tonight! really hope our portuguese bbs win it, it would be the 1st time ever! everyone in portugal is really impressed with our youngsters, it's been a while since we've had such a promising new gen of players.
OT, but re: the greek crisis & their possible exit from the euro zone, what's the prevailing opinion in your respective countries about this whole issue?
wimbledon already started & i totally forgot to buy the traditional bottle of pimm's this weekend :(
Which country do you live in?jazzypomJune 30 2015, 09:26:59 UTC
I guess if you're in Britain (especially England), you'll already know. I wonder how Portugal is taking it? Didn't they have a shaky history with the Euro too?
Germany must be hopping mad though. The amount of money they've spent on Greece, and the Greeks are still acting up like this. In addition, if the Greek PM looked like a troll (people seem to find him attractive for some reason), Greece would have been sent adrift a long time ago. But they really shouldn't have been admitted to the Euro in the first place back in 2001, because there were concerns re: its tax issues, the cash only economy, etc. even then. I remember people saying that Turkey would have been a better bet than Greece for the EU, even though it was 'too Muslim'.
RE: Which country do you live in?untxiJune 30 2015, 09:35:45 UTC
i live in Switzerland. the prevalent position here is, unsurprisingly, pretty neutral, lol. they're not too vocal about it, they basically sit back and wait for the outcome at this point. this extends to the general population too.
in Portugal afaia there's 2 main reactions: against/afraid of a greek exit from the euro zone + the repercussions that will have on our country, and the other is a certain admiration for the greeks' current attitude / rejection of the insustainable austerity measures (which they very much are; they're dramatically impoverishing the country and the people) + think we should do the same.

Switzerland isn't a part of the EU/Euro, so they can afford to be neutral, tbh. With regards to England, we aren't a part of the Euro and just as well, I think Cameron would have been loudly advocating/pushing Greece to gtfo, because the English already have issues with regards to benefits for people from the EU (countries like Romania and Poland, I think) and reparation of these benefits (long story, tbh, and kinda boring
