I'm happy for LFC, but Rodgers seems to make certain players regress, so here's hoping that we get good second coaches.

"Cleats" are "studs". I think it's an American word?

Yes. The grippy little teeth on the bottom of the boot. Hot enough to melt them? Unbelievable. Oh FIFA. The scrapes & cuts from sliding and/or falling on that plasticky stuff look like fun too. :/

OMG, that Charlie Adam page is brilliant (though Diego Costa's was better)!

My favorite: "He's just a shit Roy Keane."

Some more:

- "It's hard to believe he's younger than Cristiano Ronaldo."
- "Mordor's favorite Orc strikes again."
- "It's like he's devoted his life to personify every negative stereotype about Britons."
- "This guy is like the comic book villain from an Arsenal Fanzine."

Also, this was about Diego Costa in the Adam thread:

"Diego Costa looks like the 3rd Mario Brother who was edged out of the family plumbing business for being a brutal alcoholic."

I love when redditors pull shit like this together.

Also, these:
- "Try imagining Charlie Adam as a baby. You can't. It's just not possible."
- "Charlie Adam, may your crops be devoured by locusts."
- "I have always said he is the Ronaldo of shit players."

and downthread somebody said "I reckon that someone like /u/AWildSketchAppeared should draw Charlie Adam based off of these quotes." PLEASE LET IT HAPPEN

HAHAHAHA! That one is brilliant!

I want them to do one about Giroud and Ramsey, but let's face it, most of those comments will be about how handsome Giroud is and "it's not gay if it's Aaron Ramsey".

"it's not gay if it's Aaron Ramsey"

and this is why he's our Welsh Prince, haha :D

But yeah, that is pretty much all it would be. Which is okay, but I'm mostly just here for the lols

Hmm, how does a release from contract work? I mean, why would Bayern renounce potential transfer fee (as small as it might be) if Napoli wanted Reina? Or did he have any special clause in his contract?

Apparently Cavani might leave Copa America due to his father's incident. First Vidal, now Cavani's father (although this time it's much, much worse, given that he killed someone) - what is wrong with people?!

Wow, that first U20 photo is telling and sad tbh.

In that if a player is adamant that he wants to go, the club won't hold him back. Riena decided that he wanted to be first keeper, so he's decided to go. Good luck to him.

Drunk driving - ugh. You should have your licence stripped from you for a couple of years, tbh. There's no excuse to drive drunk. Seriously.

It's interesting. I think in the senior team, it's usually North vs South (club wise). Since most footballers do come from working class backgrounds, it makes sense that they'd be divided by race. If they'd been from mixed backgrounds, they might have been divided by class. :S

Self-segregation is nothing new. I saw it as a college student, years ago, and I'd bet nothing has changed. Not that individual people won't form friendships - they do - but as a group, that's a different matter. What matters most, at least in terms of the team, is if they're playing well together on the pitch.

BFG calls his going to Olympia "highly unlikely", what with his season and all. He's not thinking about it, but it's nice that people think he might go because it shows he "hasn't done everything wrong in the past". Keeps his fingers crossed for the U21.

I'd been wondering about those supposed sources close to him saying he wanted to go; he's more the type that either says nothing at all or says exactly what's what.

Maybe it's some official from the DfB who's just hoping that BFG will consider going after reading about it in the papers.
