RME @ Neymar. I like him, but even I said that he is NOT captain-material when Dunga appointed him. He is way too "temperamental". Who was the captain in his absence? Apparently not Thiago Silva?? I was excited for Copa America and WWC, but due to the time zones and spending some time away from computer I have seen zero games this summer. :/ I miss World Cup, tbh.
Wow, Falcao looks so different now that he cut his hair!
I've said it before, to me Neymar looks like one of those small aggressive dogs that take on every big dog they come across and snap at them until a fight breaks out.
He was also asked about his record of 150 caps and says that with players starting earlier, young players are bound to break it at some point. Couldn't resist throwing shade on Poldi, who once mocked him as "#success coach" and "#greenkeeper" when Matthäus gave him advice over the press. Now Matthäus says:
If Poldi can continue to take it easy, perhaps he might break the record. Then he can perhaps play until he's 40. I've always played 90 minutes, Poldi always plays only 9 Minutes at Inter. Therefore he has less wear and tear, so he can perhaps do it.
Someone stylising himself as a football legend might refrain from this sort of passive-aggressive reaction just because a somewhat younger man was mean to him on Twitter.
Gomez for Immobile? Did someone just think, oh, a German in Italy and an Italian in Germany and think yes, that's a logical swap?
Immobile's been on twitter a couple times in the past few months though, retweeting tweets saying he should go to Napoli.. slightly tactless perhaps... even with the circumstances of this past season.. idk

Fiorentina supposedly want to swap with Dortmund: Gomez for Immobile
Lothar Matthäus is still trying to explain why he chickened out of taking the penalty in the 1990 Cup final. Still doing the "my shoe was broken" routine.
