My week's been so shitty and I didn't even get to watch BVB today, but I'm still depressed about wednesday and I heard today was as ugly as expected and I'm just glad we got the 3 points because I'm too exhausted to bitch about how unorganized the team looks and how they seem to have forgotten how to pass the damn ball and I've accepted that this season is all about not getting relegated and god only knows we're gonna need those 3 points. Sigh.

I hope I can get home in time for El Classico tomorrow. And I hope there's drama involved because I need some fun with my football.

Lack of mls pics could be cause games are still going (eta: actually idk, the only place I look at match pics is on twitter and tumblr, I guess you can just use the ones on twitter maybe) on and some well as of now 1 game has yet to begin (la v houston and I already know the score will be 4-0 :''(. But you should find a gif of david villa's free kick cause it was hilariously bad, that altitude really got to shenanigans FC. Mls is trying to go for a league record of red cards or something I swear. And there's a Ramos on Orlando city and dude is like horse face Ramos with crispy theatrics.

Wrong dude getting sent off for west brom was hilarious cause the dudes do look alike. I'm glad city got a win but wow at 43 shots and only 3 goals.

Poor loris got knocked out so early

The players are ageing, they aren't getting in young talent and Pelligrini doesn't seem able to motivate them.

I don't know man, I've tried finding pics of the MLS-- mls soccer.com only has videos or if they have pictures they are tiny and of bad quality. Not even the local papers of the teams care to have pictures. I mean, wtf?

"Not even the local papers of the teams care to have pictures." welcome to soccer the the USA! lol i guess this answers a member introduction post last summer asking if you papers sports section talks about your league, now we have an answer. I guess only like each teams official twitter, and maybe @mls sometimes, have gameday pics. besides there idk, havent really looked elsewhere

That's weird. The local papers over here do follow their local team. For instance, Liverpool Echo have pages devoted to Everton and LFC, and the Manchester paper carries both City and United- and this was before Manchester City became Manchester city. The thing with the MLS centric soccer thing is that it's pretty generic. I'll keep looking, but I'm going to write a letter of protest though.

Objectively, I feel like David Villa, despite being a good looking man, isn't the hottest footballer out there but there is just something about him that makes my ovaries explode.

awww so qt

but lol at his "fashion" sense, same with the rest of most players in spain (if not all of europe) like seeing pics of him next to his new teammates is so funny cause them bedazzaled, paint splatter, ripped jeans dont fly here in the us

them thighs be snatched though! Gawd. jazzypom March 22 2015, 07:43:46 UTC
Yeah European men tend to like their lines a bit closer (I can't see an American athlete wearing such snug jeans) and are a bit more adventurous. I think if the MLS gets more European players, or gets more American players playing in Europe, the style will change a bit. For instance in England, it wasn't until David Beckham with his sarong wearing, highlight sporting, fashionable self make it cool (because he was still the athlete) that other English footballers started to express themselves in fashion a bit more.

oh you posted this already. I felt...so confused by things. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ my sense of time is kind of messed up.

Kane is now the leading goal scorer in the EPL! What a season it's been for him.

Also saw this come across my Tumblr dash today and started ugly laughing (especially since it's Leverkusen, so 100% appropriate):

Lol I was kinda like "what day is it?!" since these are up at like 4am my time.

I love that Kane is the top scorer rn but I don't want to hear (unavoidable obviously) any more talk of him going to rm cause he better not dare

I usually check when I wake up in the morning, but I was shocked it was already posted o__o

the Reddit Spurs fans / most of /r/soccer are convinced he's going to stay at Tottenham (because he wants to win things with Tottenham, etc), and I'd be inclined to agree except 1) the chairman is a wackjob idek >_> and 2) the stadium situation. The stadiums are super expensive, and honestly, if any club is willing to pay an absurd amount of money to Spurs that can be used to pay off that debt, I could see Kane saying yes out of service to the club (plus, he'll probably be making a lot more money :P)

But that's not going to be for another 2-3 years, at least. Well, unless if Kane is crazy good next season.

Levy isn't that bad re: talent jazzypom March 22 2015, 06:33:17 UTC
The thing is, when RM rocked up with £100 million for Bale, they weren't going to say no? Especially with the stadia development and such. I do think if Spurs get into CL contention they might hold Kane for a few years, but if RM rocked up, he'd be too much of a competitor to say no. But the consensus is, Kane is enjoying his life at Spurs right now. He has big respect for the coach and his fellow team mates were his mates from the academy.

Sorry about the mix up! I had to do it this way, because when the posts are too unwieldy LJ breaks (ask me how I know?)
