Hahahaha! I'm dying at that article about Pep joining us! Actually, there is a chance that he become the next Arsenal manager because as far I know, he's always wanted to dabble in the PL. But that part about Grandpère leaving us for PSG? Not possible.

Thanks for the video! It was really heartwarming. And for the link too!

I'd more see him going to Qatar than coming to the PL to be honest, and that's fine.

I think Wenger would step down and probably go into UEFA- I'd hope that he'd challenge Platini because Platini is ick.

Yup, Grandpère has class, experience handling losers, knows the game inside out and the man's a trained economist. He would do very well with UEFA. Fingers crossed.

Quite. Also, unlike Platini, he's been involved in club football for a while now. If anyone can melt the icy gloom between the FA and UEFA (or even FIFA, loool) I think Wenger would be the one, to be honest. I've always liked the cut of his jib, even though Arsenal has never been my team.

Aw, what a cute video, his smile is contagious!

I started watching Lyon vs PSG last night, but then felt too tired and went to bed instead, lol. Sounds like I missed a good game by Barcelona, too.

Speaking of Barcelona, wasn't there talk about them not renewing the contract with Qatar Airlines? Because now they're saying they might do the Real Madrid and change the stadium name to include Qatar, wtf. :/

I guess it depends on the elections? jazzypom February 9 2015, 12:25:46 UTC
But yeah- geez- Qatar? Damn you Guardiola, another thing to side eye the hell out of you for.

Yeah, the Barcelona game was good. Messi assisted all five goals and got two himself. I remember listening to the game and the commentator screaming. Now everyone's forgotten about that and talking about Cristiano Ronaldo's birthday party after that Real Madrid performance. I swear, if it weren't helping me getting my Spanish ear, I'd stop listening to Marca. I get so annoyed at times.

I was rooting for Ghana last night because Celtic's wee man Wakaso plays for them so I was a little sad about the result.

I c u, Inter, coming into form. *shakes fist*

Unrelated to anything, but I was looking for GMS skill compilation videos and I found this:

It's a little out of season but too adorable not to share. GMS isn't as talented in the booth as he is on the pitch, that's for sure! All the dogs in Dundee must have thought the mothership had landed or something.

Lol don't worry, Inter won against Palermo. I have hopes for a full blown implosion.

That Man Utd "fan's" tweet is hella offensive, especially considering how many plane crashes there have been recently.

Congrats to Ivory Coast! :D

That Atleti video is too cute. ;_; Not to knock on PSG/City/Chelsea or any other team whose fans have had their dreams come true because of billionaire-backed funds, but there's something incredible about Atleti's fall and rise to the top esp in La Liga that you just can't buy. I'm rooting for you too!

Wenger's not going to leave unless he doesn't manage to get us a trophy OR land in the top 4 this year. And I seriously can't imagine Pep managing a team that doesn't guarantee CL football the first year he comes.

Speaking of silly rumours, supposedly Khedira signed a pre-contract with Bayern according to this report. I'm kind of dubious, but who knows?

Once Silva came in, and Mordic on the mend and coming back for Real Madrid (they hope) the consensus is that there's no room for Khedira, tbh.

Khedira's got loads of friends at Bayern already but apparently he wasn't exactly Guardiola's first choice last summer. Bayern and their national team hoarding board might just want him though.
