I have a fever in bed jesscp January 3 2015, 06:08:11 UTC
FML thought I escaped winter flu! Anyway I genuinely have a fever, I'm not just panicking for my 2 babies Reus and Hummels.

I have basically come to terms with the fact that Reus is most certainly leaving in Summer - he better not pull any fuckboy shit and leave in this transfer window or I will be inconsolable.

My other problem now is Hummels. The fact that he has gone on record saying he wants to stay with BvB and it's a project is all well and good, but it's just words and words change VERY QUICKLY. If we continue to fuck up in the second half of the season, I can see him being sold in Summer, purely to help the club regroup as I doubt he or they will want to play no international club football. I just hope he sticks this out and at least sticks to his word until Summer. My heart can only take so much and it would break if he went straight to Man Utd right now. I just don't know if it's the right team for him, with regular play.

BvB will always be my team, but I will always follow Reus and Hummels, regardless of where they go, ( ... )

I hope you feel better soon!
Everything will depend on the second half of the season. If they win 14 of the 17 matchen in the second half of the season, they would almost certainly get into Europe. That's a very difficult task of course but not impossible.
I would be surprised if Reus left now simply because he is injured anyway and I don't know if that release clause already works now. I have no idea what Hummels is going to do. I guess it will depend on the end of the campaign too.

I do hope that they go back to basics for training now because the passing and finishing in the last few matches were atrocious.

Neither Bayern nor Real need to do transfers right now. The squads are looking pretty good. A new right back for Real might be interesting though.
Shaquiri might leave so Bayern still needs to plan someone to replace Robben in the future but that doesn't have to be now.

OP Has Strootman fully recovered from his knee injury?

Defensive midfielder Joshua Kimmich to join Bayern

Guardiola has been after him for a while.

Yeah. He's a signing for the future, I think. I saw a vid of him and he reminds me a lot of Toni Kroos, let's hope he'll be just as good. :D

Well, one of the clubs I like is under a transfer ban lol :s, the other has insisted they're not changing their squad and Atleti just got Torres, so I don't have any predictions or wishes. I know the Torres deal is questionable, but NGL I'm excited and I hope things turn around for him. With Simeone anything is possible.

I wonder what will happen with Dani Alves. His contract expires this summer and he has confirmed that he has not been offered a new one, plus a while ago he said he'll go to England. I hope with the transfer ban they'll renew it and if not then that he goes to a good club.

Alves to England? jazzypom January 3 2015, 09:22:04 UTC
Didn't he say that just to try and get a new contract at Barça, did they change their mind then?

Just yesterday at the airport he said he hasn't been given a new contract. :/ He said a few months ago that he can't say which club but that he's going to England, so I thought he had already agreed with some club, but apparently not since now he seemed disappointed that he's not renewing with Barça. I really like Alves.

Going to England? Idek, man, the PL for someone at his age... it might take a while for him to get accustomed, but Alves is class even if he's on the downward trajectory. Clubs would spring for him in a heartbeat - but after Barcelona, the lifestyle, the language, I don't know if he'd really want to come to England to learn a new language (the clubs are getting really strict about that as of late) or get accustomed to a new, uptempo style of play.

well about BVB we all know how the season has been so far so i think we reaaaally need to inject some new players. i think the first concern should be players who can create more scoring chances and ones who are clinical finishers. so i think we need maybe a new striker and a fast player on the wings. tbh i don't think our defense needs to be changed per se, i feel like they just need to have a hearty talk with each other and rediscover their purpose; which is to not let the other team score. we have some world class defenders- they just need to find their footing again.

my real concern is about mats. i hope he doesn't go anywhere, at least until the summer window. my heart won't be able to take it if he left now :'(

regarding reus, i just hope we find a suitable replacement for him :( i don't want him at real tho, we don't need him.

about real, i would like the squad to stay as it is except for arb*loa. i wish he would just leave or retire because he offers literally nothing for the team.
