Since Lahm's shock retirement they keep asking everyone about their retirements.

But Philip Lahm is in his 30s, you normally retire from international competition in your 30s in order to extend your club career. I honestly don't get why Lahm's retirement was a shock. After ten years in the side, he got the World Cup, I'd have dropped the mike then too.

I know! I was not that surprised tbh. Although it's kinda ironic that he gets his first serious injury in 10 years after quitting the NT.

He had a remarkable year, I have to say.

Why wouldn't they be allowed to eat cookies, lol. I can believe that he is mentally tired though. I know that I need a break from his gallops out of the box, it's so stressful.

Imagine that he would not have made the World Cup, that would have been a disaster.

I have to try and find that scene with Basti again. But in hockey, they play with a flying keeper all the time, so why not.
