Rolfes retiring? WHY?

I will die when Kehl retires. (BvB are 13th now!)

I don't wanna think about the Arsenal match. Stoke are the worst.

I think once you hit your early thirties, you feel it more - you don't throw off soreness and injury like you would in your early twenties. Besides, he wants to get into management. No time like the present!

Ugh at Stoke. WTF? Adam needs a match ban.

Simon Rolfes is not that old! I'm surprised that he is going to retire!

Well that was a crap match from Arsenal.

Aguëro's injury looks serious. He pulls a face like a player who knows that something is seriously wrong.
I'm glad that Liverpool had at least a clean sheet.

That really was a dive from Crispy before the penalty. It's a shame.

That's Marco's extremely cute nephew Nico.

You start feeling it more, iirc. Besides, I think he wants to go into coaching/management with his club, but he's taking a sabbatical after the season. He has time.

La Liga really gives Ronaldo what he wants though. He begs for stuff and gets it. Which is why I'm pretty eye rolly at him now! I remember him bitching at the Champions League referee saying how he was like an English referee, where they tell you to run it because they want the game to flow.

But on tumblr people are all, "Have you accepted Ronaldo as your Lord and saviour?" Nope, I'm agnostic, thanks.

Ronaldo is a winner and that can bring the worst in him to the surface, I guess.
But the reward for a dive is so big that I can understand why they do it. I don't like it but it's understandable that when a dive can win you the game, a player does it. Maybe they should punish it retroactively but that's difficult. Plus it's not always easy to the difference between a player stumbling and diving.

Yeah, I... don't know how the ref didn't see that jazzypom December 7 2014, 11:08:21 UTC
There might be something about reviewing various matches and giving post match punishments, like they're thinking about in the Belgian league, iirc? Because stuff like this can't continue. Someone is going to get seriously incapacitated.

There has been talk about it. But I'm not entirely sure about the rules right now, they change constantly and are quite confusing.

But I think that they should review matches and punish players. It's impossible for a ref to see everything and the television images are there for everyone to see.

That scene from the Arsenal match - at first I thought someone had photoshopped an actual wrestler into the photo, because no way could that be an actual duel in a football match.

Then I saw this gif:

Can one embed these gyfcat things without the .gif quality reduction?

Even the fans can't believe it.

Of course reviewing matches afterwards opens cans of worms, but something like that should be punished. And it has happened before in international competitions, after all.

BTW, here's another angle of Adam actually trying to kill Alexis.

To be fair, he's a couple of years older than Cesc. But still it doesn't cancel out the fact that he's a thug and a bully and looks 50.

And they say Wikipedia is inaccurate. :p Spot on. I could hardly believe my eyes when I was watching the game.
