The midfield list looks pretty solid, IMO. Although I don't know what Cesc has done to deserve a spot here. He's only been in Chelsea for three months. Spanish Satan did some solid work in Man City's midfield last season, he deserves a nod. But no Atletico representation? SMH.

no Koke or Arda, lol. First the La Liga Awards and now this. I mean Xavi, Fabregas and Iniesta? Seriously?

I know! They are/were incredible footballers but they haven't been at the highest level this year.
Barcelona didn't win a single trophy, neither did Spain.

It's ridiculous how these awards keep ignoring Atleti. Just because they don't have enough celebrity/sponsor/money factor.

Atletico should be getting more accolades for their player, coach, everything. Y'all got me thinking of buying a shirt the next time I hit Spain.

I know everyone has a raging hard on over Neuer and Casillas, but Courtois rocks it for me.

Casillas does not belong on this list IMO

I don't think so either, but he's Real Madrid and more coasting on his past glories than present victories, but yeah I agree with you.

but the sad thing is, he was most likely included in the list because of his last season in RM. lol

Ugh, BvB is always overlooked in these lists except for Mats and Chicken (Peasant King and Satan Bobby, why you leave us?). I mean, Kehl also deserves some recognition, he's so underrated :(
