Yup, he's saying "Por la puta".

He does have a drinker's nose! Or it could be because of age, I dunno. It doesn't look too bad (maybe I'm saying this because my nose turns red quite often :/) to me. Why would anybody unfollow you for saying that? How stupid.

Yeah, I love Xabi but I side-eye him for a lot of things and that moment was one of them. Except I got mixed up, and thought it was Biscuit not Hobbit Prince. Oh, poor Hobbit Prince did not deserve that. That match was when, 2009? 2010?

No, it's not just the redness. It's the fact that it's swollen - with the tiny broken capillaries. I know that he's always liked a drink- and sometimes never been on the right side of his cups, but in the last year it's gotten worse. Between his nose and his dodgy gnashers, I'm SMH. If it weren't for his profession and the fact that he has to train and play everyday, he'd probably be skinny fat (he has a tendency to lose weight, iirc).

Eh, Alonso has some admirers on tumblr who think that he can't do any wrong. I like Alonso well enough - as much as I can like a footballler (and someone I don't know personally), but that doesn't make him immune to being a dick at turns.

Can't remember when that match was. I know that it was under Mou's reign, and Guardiola would refer to Real as bandits and thugs. Ah, those were the days. Which is why I don't ever think Guardiola would ever come to the EPL as long as Mou is here tbh.

Aaww, great picspam of a great human being <3

I've always liked him, even when he didn't play for the right teams, but after first being in Real Madrid and then making the brilliant move to Bayern, I've just completely fallen in love with him. I mean, what's not to like? :D

Damn Granero- SMH at your career and how Real pushed you out. I always thought after Alonso saw what happened to Granero, he started making plans to be all exeunt, chased by a bear.

I would love to see him try his hand at coaching/managing when he's ready to retire as a player. There's a Zen-like quality about him that's seems conducive to coaching. He's also got a face made for television, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up as a football pundit (hopefully as one with analytical intelligence similar to Gary Neville).
