Well, they are one of the most-known clubs internationally, and they have what feels like half the World Cup winners in the team, including favourites of many here like Neuer and Schweinsteiger, so I suppose they are of more interest to many than, say, FC Köln. (Although I do think that a club that routinely has a live billy-goat in the stadium should have some potential for international cult status.)
Well, the World Cup (the last ones too, really), as well as the... hm, attractiveness of some of the players, shifted things a bit, I suppose.
He seems OK with it; he's actually the eighth billy-goat they've had. From what I've read, the current one is scared of the ball and the linesmen if they come close, but the rest doesn't bother him. He is with someone he knows, and he just crops the grass in the outskirts while the game is going on.
From what they report, he seems OK; supposedly he even enjoys the travel and being in the stadium. I think in that video he's mostly bored, as he could run way faster if he wanted. Goats are quite good at doing what they want. If he was really endangered, animal protection services would surely have done something about it at some point in the last decades, too.
(At this point, Poldi's remaining in Arsenal so that he can entertain Grandpère Arsène with his delightful stories about Brazil and their telenovelas.)
That middle pic is circa 2006 or maybe even earlier. He's just young.
Lol @ "Money or Love" - from when Lukas was looking to leave Koeln. I wish Arsene would play him more often. I know he's inconsistent, but he does have a lot to offer and can't be feeling more confident sitting on the bench.
maybe not exclusively a bayern comm but leaning more towards the germans as a whole. i think it's because the most frequent posters are german/bayern fans.
