I guess that Mou cares jackshit about grass lengh but Pep is very particular about it. It was his and Xavis pet peeves while he was still coaching Barcelona: grass had to be short and well wattered. And Mou ofcourse trolled them and asked for the grass to be longer during clasicos. This is an old problem between those two.

I undertsand that the state and lengh of grass can have an impact on a game if you play a lot of short percise passes ... but tbh I often wonder if Pep and Xavito dearest didn't go over the top with this a bit. And Mou wouldn't be Mou if he didn't take a strike at something like that.

I really wish that one of them, either Pep or Mou (preferably both) would one day when they are 60-70 write a book about the whole thing and not hold back ... I think both cules and madridistas need about 25 years to cool down and proceed those things but ... wouldn't it be epic? This would surely be a football book of the year tbh.
