Regarding the calendar timezone: You can do things to the URL to make it correct for you. For instance, this is the URL I use (note the bolded bit in the end):

Oh, that's because I fed in Arsenal's calendar and City's calendar, that's why it's repeated. There are many matches which show up twice or thrice all of because of the many calendar feeds.

You can still join the FF especially now since PL is on a break and CL is yet to start. There's nothing much to do. Just pick a team and wait to see how each player does in their respective team matches.
