Still weird. Can't get any less weird.

But: so hot.

He's so handsome. It's still shocking that he's not with real Madrid.

a man like him should wear a warning

no, really, i wish i could warn all the fans there. he's broken me twice - it always hurts like hell and it never gets easier. don't love him too much. just don't.

He'll do a charm offensive, make you fall in love with him and BREAK YOUR HEART. Don't do it. At least with Liverpool, we got a year to steel ourselves, Madrid got 48 hours!

That being said, I'm glad that he's kept up his English, it must be easier to get around in Germany with it than without it. You hear Ronaldo's English now and it's fallen off a cliff since he left England.

I always see Xabi playing the diplomat role with his opponents and the refs during controversial events on the pitch, and I figured it's either because of his smooth-talking ways or he's the only one on the team who has a good grasp on both English and Spanish, lol.

I don't know, Alonso can be a bit of a shit though. I've seen him getting into little dust ups on the pitch. But that being said, I can see him doing a Guardiola and learning to speak reasonable German in a few months (watch him, he'll be speaking German by January). That said, I'd be surprised if he'd just 'settle' for being a manager when UEFA positions await. With his languages and canniness, he'll be a good fit.
