Because I'm a good person, I won't say that he just was waiting for Xavi and Iniesta to come help with with his tax forms.

He is also not waiting for Cesc and Piqué to come protect him from that awful nasty tax man

If it's his father's doing, then go after his father… Leo had nothing to do with it.

It was his money. And he's an adult, of course they go after him.

Messi will never be an adult, he will be an innocent naive kid who just wants to play football!!1! when he is 90

Haha. Probably.
I just came by a picture of his underwear photoshoot. It scarred me for life!

He seems to be hung, drawn and quartered before anything has even been proven. Anyway, who actually thinks Messi does his own taxes...

Most people in the world think he's innocent, probably. The media/ONTD is not a reflection of general sentiment about Messi. And I don't care if you don't do your own taxes; you have a legal responsibility to not allow fraud to be perpetrated in your name. I'd say the same damned thing if Cristiano's mom was perpetrating fraud and he wasn't paying attention.

Going by that logic, pretty much any and every millionaire and/or celebrity is automatically exonerated from any accusation of tax fraud ever. Since, you know, none of them do their own taxes since they're too busy / too dumb / can't be bothered / pay other people to do it for them / etc.

If you're an adult ---> your money, your legal or criminal responsibility. Simple as.

I didn’t say that as an excuse for him, it was more out of jest - the image of Messi sitting in his kitchen filing tax return forms. I don't really care what happens to Messi, it doesn’t affect my team.
