Good article, but I was a bit miffed he said "Özil is Turkish", etc. Maybe that's just me, though.

Me too. I also thought is was a bit strange that he said Boateng, whose father is Ghanaian; Gomez, who is of Spanish descent, when Mario's "situation" is actually the "same" as Jerome's: they both have German mothers (as does Sami, of course).
