I couldn't imagine them actually voting Rangers out, but then Hearts declared this today. It will definitely be interesting

shut up Vladimir, you're not so innocent yourself.
How many times have you not payed your players because of your money problems?

I know the like of David Murray and Craig Whyte have fucked up but I really see this effecting Scottish football if Rangers are not in the SPL.

ha this is good logic. Apparently some clubs are letting the fans vote though so I can see where this is heading

""They pay huge sums to English clubs, whilst in Scotland, where football is better supported per capita than anywhere else in Europe and there are more cable or Sky subscribers per capita than in England, clubs receive peanuts for their broadcasting rights."

I agree with him here, at least.

Most Celtic fans I know are finding the whole thing hysterical, ngl.

On Football Weekly a review was done of "Celtic: A Biography in 9 Lives" by Kevin McCarra. It was cheekily suggested by AC Jimbo and Co. that perhaps Rangers fans should read it since they'd be needing a new club and, you know, Celtic are nearby ;)

Apparently they weren't allowed to reise 'Rangers'. People were referring to it as Rangers 2.0, but that looks like it's not to be

Ha, I wonder what the actual legal name of the outfit will be. Newco are the guys who have bought the club, I think. But ia it's so unimaginative

If 5 or more clubs vote no, Rangers will need to apply to be admitted to Scottish Football League Division Three

LOL if it were my club I'd be like, challenge accepted. It'd be like being Real Madrid in La Liga sans Barca. 120 points and the season's not even over yet.

Seriously though, that's a bit ridiculous. Surely the other teams are going to vote against them, even though it makes financial sense for everyone in the SPL to keep them.

:D

This is exactly what is going to happen

all of this. Dundee utd have already said no and Motherwell are putting it to the vote.

Rangers are going to SLAY division 3 next season
