Joey Barton is a prick, but how he was voted the worst of those five is a complete mystery to me. Pricks are a dime a dozen in football; racist incidents against fellow players are not.

Maybe it's because I've seen a lot of Joey Bartons over the years, but very few racist incidents. Barton's an ass, but tons of people in football have been throughout the years. Racial abuse is a huge step above that for me.

Kompany said in an interview with Belgian television this weekend that 'the Man City squad was full of strong characters (understatement of the century) and that he liked that and that it is a challenge to captain a team like that. (Also, his heart is blue and he'll support England because his wife is English).
