I thought I read
somewhere that the players
hated rdm more than avb. i wonder how long this winning streak will last?

I don’t know about that… tbh, so much has been circulated by the English Meeja regarding AVBgate (some papers say JT engineered it, others say Terry fought for AVB to stay, etc) that I just take everything with a pinch of salt.

However, what was quite evident yesterday from the fans in the away end singing “Abramovich, he’ll sack who he wants” is that amongst them, there isn’t that much sympathy towards AVB (or if there is, on the most part, it’s not lingering), as well as that, whilst Jose is most Chelsea fan’s first choice for gaffer (however improbable), we’re currently content with Di Matteo. The fact that he’s a Chelsea legend who actually bought the club silverwear long before Roman came along with his rubles earns him a certain amount of immunity.

LMAO!

I was so torn up about AVB's departure even though it's probs for the best, but i'm feeling all sorts of warm and fuzzy about RDM and Eddie. No matter how unlikely, i'm hoping the Chels do well enough that they stay long-term instead bringing in an overpaid superstar gaffer. Less fanfare and quiet rebuilding might do Chelsea a world of good!
