NOT THAT THIS IS SOMETHING I'VE EVER CONSIDEREDyeatsOctober 14 2011, 21:39:31 UTC
see you think this is a joke, but i was living in the uk in the summer of 2005, right after liverpool had won the cl, and working for a political party in an office with a liverpool fan. i really don't think it's all that much of a stretch to imagine a situation where i would have been at a charity function and a certain mr alonso would also have been in attendance. and while my former coworker's fanhood would have enabled him to recognize xabi, my americanness and relative ignorance of football would have reduced the difference between us to one of a 23 year old attractive young man and a 19 year old winsome girl. in fact, i think he would have found my naivete charming, especially since everyone else in attendance treated him with kid gloves -- in contrast, my innocent flirtations would have struck him as refreshing, and perhaps we would have retreated from the larger party to talk in a more private setting. i imagine the two of us nipping a bottle of wine from the open bar to go sit in some anteroom, undisturbed, enjoying one

I can't believe I'm admitting this but when I play FM I sometimes imagine this alternate reality where I really am the manager of whatever club and get these really complicated relationships with my players but in the end we are a team and I'm a tactical genius and sometimes I clash with the board but I'm always proven right and it's all very dramatic and makes the computer simulated games even more intense
not a lot of sexing though. For obvious reasons. As a female manager I must be a ~paragon of professionalism~ after all.
