Rovers have made an official enquiry and Raul was given 24 hours to make up his mind, according to the daily mail. They also claim Raul refused to celebrate his amazing goal in Schalke 5-1 win against Koln this Saturday "in a pointed ( Read more... )

Maybe he should just retire. Leave the legacy somewhat intact.

I'm glad he didn't because he has more to offer and plus I go to see him in rl when Schalke played against Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the CL last season. (:

They also claim Raul refused to celebrate his amazing goal in Schalke 5-1 win against Koln this Saturday "in a pointed gesture that was widely seen as a hint he could be on his way."

IDGI from that video he did his usual celebration - kissing his ring and then gesturing to the fans ... and tbh he scored goal 4 in a 5-1 win, it's not like he scored the winner in the last minute of a cup final, he's hardly going to be tearing round the pitch!

Not that I have a problem with him coming to the EPL because I love and miss him muchly but I think that the Daily Fail are getting waaaaay ahead of themselves over a total non story.

Yeah I know. Huntey didn't seem that much into celebrating the next goal, even though it was a hat-trick.

On the one hand I hope it's just a bunch of nonsense or an attempt to put some pressure on the Schalke bosses. On the other hand, if he's unwilling to accustom himself to Grandpa Ralf's plan, we should sell him and buy a player who does fit it. (Our coach is basically trying to make us play fast attacking football with a defensive formation... :/)

I think it's one of those things where at the start of the season, when you're winning comfortably with time to spare, there's no real "need" to celebrate like the season depended on it.

I never believe the shitstirring the media does till there's official news from the club. I hope he doesn't leave though, because he's seemed quite settled last season and I wouldn't want him to start club hopping now :/

The only club hopping he should do is with Guti in Ibiza lol
