His FA Cup comments were annoying as well - does he genuinely believe he deserves two medals? Did he want everyone else in the team to give him their medals?!

Er no, the point he was making is that nobody was up in arms when he didn´t get medals when he deserved them so why are people jumping on him about getting one now because it´s undeserved

But he did get a medal for winning the FA Cup - which is exactly what he deserved but he implied that it wasn't enough

No he´s basically saying when he "deserved" to get more medals he didn´t get them, and despite the fact he has admitted there are players who deserve medals more than him now, he´s not going to turn one down because he played his part.

meh maybe if youre a pool fan you think so, but hes actually a really genuinely good guy at the end of the day. one of the few in football tbh, even with the move he made

maybe because when he does interviews and all that, people can tell he's a good guy? hes down to earth, seems genuine, is nice, etc
