Birmingham City deserved it in every single way. They should have had a penalty and an extra man up within the first few minutes, but they didn’t wallow in the injustice, just carried on playing. And it was freaking wonderful game, they totally bought their A-game, played attacking football and Alex McLeish did good with his substitutions - the substitution of Martins was inspired and totally won them the game. BBC Commentators were a real bore, as was The Guardian in the build up to this game; they didn’t write any articles on Birmingham and instead focussed on how important a Carling Cup win for ~Jack Wilshire’s Arsenal~ would be, as if the win was a foregone conclusion. The way Birmingham didn't even get a look in by most of the Media and how they focussed on fapping over Arsenal's ~beautiful game instead was totally disrespectful, and I'm really happy BCFC proved them wrong.
