lol my brain today;;;; I can't seem to find the right words to say what I think but this will have to do.
footballers have a lot of influence over people so if they want to use that to get a positive message out or do something good then that's pretty great but if they don't want to then it's not the end of the world. but if things like racism and homophobia are to disappear for good then footballers will have to get involved.
sorry, I deleted the q. I figured it was too heavy for this comm lol, but IA with you. they should definitely get involved with the racism and homophobia movements. I think they should also get involved in the poverty etc movements too though.. idk
lol it's fine. I had like 5 answers written out before I settled on that one. I like the questions though. makes you think!
I know a lot of footballers do charity work in a whole spectrum of issues but to clean up the issues within football itself they're all going to need to get involved, not just a few here and there.
I really like the against racism movement, but I feel even that one could be stronger. I wish I could organize these kinds of things haha, that'd be my dream job tbh...
And thank you bb. :) I usually do it on the weekends so I kind of deleted the heavier qs. I like the discussion~ but I know some people aren't as into it.
when I found out all the stuff he does for CI (pretty long time now) i was pretty amazed. People can give him hell for diving but he's politically involved as well as being talented and that matters a lot more. Shame a lot of football fans have no clue about the stuff he does.
ya, i think he's the most amazing person in football today. he may be a brat on the pitch, but outside of it - idk, i don't think you can hate him. a true hero in his country.
I always remember the interview with Franquito Di Santo... He said Drogba was amazing, a great friend and wanted to help him play better.. He'd stay with him to practice, etc. :)
