I nearly chewed the bar to pieces with anxiety, I nearly swore on the phone with my grandmother because Gomes just barely made a save I was sure he'd miss ("I love you too grandma I have to go Ohhhh ffff" ::click::), and then after the game I was so elated I spun-out on the on-ramp to the highway.

Bentley... your shorts. What.

I'm seriously so excited for this weekend.

It was a wonderful football match! :) The football was really great and both sets of fans were SOOOOOO loud (though Spurs fans, c'mon, there are other songs in the world than Yid Army, jus sayin' :p) and my husband scored!!!! :DDDDDDDD Wayne Bridge was my focal point of hilarity through the night, ngl. He couldn't hold on to Lennon, he couldn't hold on to Crouch, he couldn't even hold on to his ex. Bahahahahaha. Tevez played well, but, thinking about it, he could have creatd a lot more if he hadn't ran and ran and simply given the ball to a teammate at many points. Crouch was AMAZE. His workrate and never-give-up attitude made me so proud. :) Especially in contrast to Adebayor, who played like a complete donkey. But Spurs deserved it, Redknapp got his tactics spot on and yeah. Good on Tottenham ( ... )

omg adebayor was shocking. i haven't kept up with city but seeing this and then remembering how he was at WHL...yeesh. i mean, he was a terror for spurs at arsenal but this season with city, wow. i was glad it was crouch who scored, he'd been getting some stick from spurs fans for not scoring enough during the season so hopefully this could shut them up.

And talking about getting Torres and Kaka and Sneijder.oh my ( ... )

Hehe XD

I don't mind Redknapp actually, he does say "literally" rather a lot, but it's fair enough that he's biased in favour of those teams what with his own history with and familiar ties with them. XD Plus, I think it's a nice change because the lj community premiership is kind of heavily, heavily anti-Liverpool, anti-Chelsea and anti-Spurs, so he is literally the counterpart of that, haha. :D
