I HATE THIS ARTICLE. It could have made an interesting point instead its just OMG THE POOR MENZ article instead of commenting on how this hyper masculine view of men is not only damaging to men but rooted in MISOGYNY.

Neither NBC or ABC would put a show on the air in which a physically unattractive woman was trained in how
to be a "real woman" by an idiotic but beautiful personal trainer, and if they did, they would not say that she needed to learn how to be a "real woman."

I thought that was the whole cart and carry of makeover shows like Queer Eye or plots of movies like My Fair Lady :|

WTF. If this writer looked at television outside these two shows, she'd find a wide range of male characters who demonstrate all stripes of masculinity (and bonus: aren't exclusively defined by their gender).
