Please, Mr. Warren, tell me more about the evil succubi and their feminine wiles.

Seriously, though. Sleeping with a married person without the knowledge or consent of their spouse is bad. It's definitely not a behaviour that should be encouraged. But you know what? Sleeping with someone other than your spouse when you've made a promise to be faithful, supportive and open with them for the rest of your life is worse.

The men he mentioned might have been "excoriated" but they've hardly been chased out of the public eye or even suffered much financially for their scandals. And with only a couple of exceptions, none of the people mentioned have broken any laws. We might find their behavior unacceptable but it's hardly the dangerous crime that drinking and driving is.

That... didn't even occur to me, but on reflection, is highly likely.

What I want to know is exactly what this drivel has to do with fatherhood? Not one mention of fatherhood. Why is he bringing up the fact that he's part of the FATHERHOOD initiative?

Yeah he probably just means patriarchy.

I guess the name "Blame Women For Everything Initiative" didn't work out in focus groups.

None of this has jackshit to do with the shit he's written. If this group knows what's good for them, they'll distance themselves from this idiot.

Ugh, gross. But at least I learned a nicely loaded new word: Excoriated. I'll use it in a sentence.

After posting a misogynistic and ill-conceived opinion to the Washington Post, Roland C. Warren was inundated by hundreds of excoriating emails pointing out his inability to make relevant social comparisons.
