Thanks for posting this, I found it really interesting as well. I'm sure the bullying I experienced at school had a long-term effect on me and although it's obviously early days for this research, it does resonate with my personal experiences. Lots to think about here.

Bullied and harassed all throughout school, and even now at 30 while I feel I'm "over it" for lack of a better term, I do know there were some lasting effects to it. This study isn't all that surprising to me, but it is nice to have some proof that it is a serious problem.

I can say with absolute confidence that the bullying I endured has effected and contributed to my anxiety and depression.
I'm happy to see it be taken more seriously, but I feel like now it's just going to add another layer of "well if it doesn't show up on the brain scan than you weren't really bullied."
