I would love to have another child, and I can't. I want another child very very much, but I still have no idea how I could live with myself knowing I'd stolen a child, basically. I understand wanting to nurture and I understand how big that hole in your heart can be, but I don't know I could honestly say I'd behaved in a loving and parental manner when I had so blatantly ignored his/her best interest.

Seriously. In the case of those teenagers it would almost be better to help their actual biological family keep them. Hell, go visit them sometimes even. But I couldn't take them knowing that their father didn't want them to be adopted and has no way even of really keeping in contact with them.
