Three women in Namibia are suing the state for allegedly being sterilised without their informed consent after being diagnosed as HIV positive.

No doubt. I'd be really surprised if the hospitals were bending over backwards to provide unbiased translators. It would be interesting to see where most of these women fall within their country's social structure.

Ugh. Those poor women. I really hope the legal action succeeds to the tune of helping stop this sort of thing.
