We have been trying to get #HAPPYBIRTHDAYMALONEY to trend on twitter and you better be doing this too! Don't have a twitter? Make one. Lurker? Who cares, just do it!!
AND SURPRISE: LOOK WHO HAS JUMPED ON THE BANDWAGON!!!!!!
Jordan, we love ya, but this bitch just refused to trend. I didn't know back when I suggested this that it was going to be this hard. But, I'm not going to stop now.
My sister and I both got fake accounts and we are spamming the shit out of this on them. Kinda sad though that there is a 1000 tweet limit per day.
I'm trying to get as many people as I can to at least tweet it ONCE. One time from 400 people would help...at least I hope it would. And my one fake account is maxed for the day.
My question is, how come Apolo hasn't RTed it yet?! I am Disappoint Apolo.
uggg... guys, I've been reading websites to find out how to make something a trending topic and it says don't start your tweet with @username or it won't be picked up. D: Make sure you put @J2K111 somewhere in the middle or at the end of your tweet.
This will probably need to be tweeted/re-tweeted *at least* 2,000 times to make trending. DX But it mostly depends on how much traffic Twitter is getting right now and what other topics are currently trending.
This project probably would be working better if there had been more advanced planning. In other fandoms we've tried to get #HappyBirthdayWhoever trending on Twitter but it never works unless it's really organized. You have to have a specific time picked for everyone to tweet the message all at once, you have to have TOOONS of people doing it, and people usually will just spam-tweet it over and over again. (But you have to be careful doing that because if you tweet the exact same thing so many times in a certain period of time supposedly Twitter marks it as spam and won't pick it up anymore. I can't remember what the limit was on that though. >_<)
[Edit] Here are the spam-related rules about it that were posted in a different fandom:
I know there's rules twitter has about spam too. Like I believe if you have it more then 3 or 4 times in one tweet, it won't count, and you can only tweet it so many times in a certain span of time before it doesn't count

Simon hasn't either, which is weird. Maybe he just hasn't noticed? Him and Apolo.
