OT question: How many words is typical for a one-shot fanfic? I'm writing my first one for one of the kink meme prompts and I have no idea what a typical word count is.

do you have an approx. guestimate on how long the fics for the prompts have been so i have an idea of how long to make it, i have well beyond 500 words and i tend to be long-winded when i write anything else
