It's here! The first single off Adam Lambert's forthcoming album, On With The Show, which is expected to be released later this summer.
The song is called Want, and it leaves us doing just that - wanting more.
It's a pretty mid-tempo song, definitely leaning more towards pop than rock. We like it, but it lacks the personality that made Glambert such a superstar on American Idol.
Adam sounds great on the song, but it's just not that memorable. Or so we think.

Update: This is a bit sketchy!
Apparently, this album WILL be released this summer, which we thought was VERY quick. However, we've just learned that the songs on it were recorded in 2007 and 2008, before Lambert was on American Idol.
It's being released by a label other than the one he signed to after he came in 2nd on the show.
Wonder what he thinks about a whole album of old material being released????
Will anybody buy it?????

Apparently American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert recorded an album in 2007 and 2008, before anyone had ever heard of him. Now, not shockingly, somebody is trying to cash in with these early recordings. A label called Hi Fi Recodings/Wilshire Records has just released a "single," called "Want," from the sessions, and an album, On With the Show, is due out later this summer.
Check out the song on Perez Hilton, then let us know what you think. Is this nothing more than a cheap cash-in? Or can you never have enough Adam Lambert?
