It seems really strange for him to do a series tho. I don't think he's expressed interest in acting but since he's done a few shows for Disney...

Maybe creatively it's easier on him than trying to do his own music and having to deal with crappy labels and worrying about record sales and stuff? idk. I wonder why he was like "I'm going on a mission guys! Wait first I have to act." He seems too shy to be an actor.

I think he's leaving for his mission somewhere middle of the year. And I heard that it'll only be a mini-series, so the show would prolly only last a few weeks if not a few months.

THIS DOES NOT ENTIRELY PLEASE ME.
I am confused by his choice and, as an Archie fan, we already deal with so much second hand embarrassment. Dude is not exactly a natural actor. Also I would have preferred getting an EP or something out of him before he left? I prefer music to tv... But ah well. Work is work right?

My friend and I just keep joking about how awkward the this is gonna be. Her mom watches a lot of Filipino dramas and she says their so uber angsty. My ex-boyfriend said the same thing too.

...plus we were giggling about how bad his Tagalog could be. We're bad fans.

If this is a teen soap it will be super angsty. I'm betting there's a musical aspect to it tho

It's okay, one of the actresses has an Australian accent when she speaks Tagalog
