I really hope they know Adam won't do it. He's already been through this several times. He loves Queen and would collaborate with them, but he definitely doesn't want to be the front man for them. He wants to be himself and have his own career.

I would love to see him collaborate with Queen on a project. That would be awesome, but I prefer him as a solo act.

Lady Gaga as the front woman for Queen? I just don't see it. I'm not a big Gaga fan anyway, but she just doesn't seem to fit and doesn't have the right voice for it.

Ah. Watching that clip again brings back such lovely memories. My girlfriend and I kept screaming with excitement that whole show. That Adam actually got to sing with Queen was just the so amazing. (And he and Kris were pretty adorable together in that number.) Love it--and like our lad getting a nod (if a slightly condescending one)--over at Grantland.

lol Not gonna happen, they probably are just joking around. I would be surprised if they didn't pick this guy:

They should tour and have different guest singers for different legs of the tour. That would be the smartest way and it would allow for a better variety of singers without forcing anyone into a permanent lead singer role. These people have their own music they want to create and Mercury's shoes are way to big for any one person to fill.

I don't really want Gaga officially fronting Queen, lol. I like her and think it would be super cool to see for a performance or two, but if they're thinking long-term... that's not exactly right for either of them.
