yes, exactly. i feel like it was a move that nigel made when he realized that people noticed lee wasn't asked to participate, and he was just trying to cover his own ass.

I liked Nigel when he was a no-bullshit kind of guy. He just flat out said things like "I don't care what the other judges think, I always have the last word" on SYTYCD. I could disagree with his opinions (and how he always loved bad hip hop dancers because they bring young viewers to the show), but I respected that.

Now he's just a sad asshole with this "I was so upset" shit.

I was never much of a fan of Lee for his musicality (or lack thereof :P), but I did feel that he and I were both kind of similar in that "introverted, somewhat-shy" way. If someone had been like "HEY, JUMP ON STAGE AT THE LAST MINUTE AND TALK IN FRONT OF AN AUDIENCE OF MILLIONS" to me, I would have said hell no too! I mean, all of the politics and Nigel's smarmy, lying ass aside, to go up in front of an audience that big without having rehearsed anything sounds like something on my top ten list of biggest nightmares ever; I wouldn't be surprised if Lee feels the same way.
