I love Paula, I really do, but Idol is a business and she should get paid for what she was bringing to the table.

IMO, Randy is more useless than she is. BUT, when people talk about Paula's comments to the contestants, it's always in the joking "I can't wait to hear what Paula says next!" kind of way. Very few people ever took her seriously enough to take her comments as more than "you can count on Paula being nice." Add to that the almost constant incoherency for a bit there, and her credibility as a real judge with anything truly valuable to say is really damaged by this point.

And I think if they offer her a bit more money - or even the same amount in a few more months - she'd take it and come back.
