Skype lets several people talk both through IM and audio talk to each other and record the whole thing. Then it's just a matter of editing and maybe messing with the levels if someone's mike isn't as loud as the others.

NGL, I was listening to the Glee cover of Don't Stop Believing the other day and thinking what a lolarious kradam vid it would make.

One thought I had is that if you're able to ever get interviews, you should totally try to get Michael Slezak and Kristen Baldwin from Idoltary on. That would be so amazing.

I think it'd be kind of cool to do it in the style of Chelsea Handler's show (whatever it's called), with a lot of free-flowing commentary and snark on different news items.

I have no clue if they'd be willing/able or not... but Slezak at least has a twitter, so there's one way of contacting him? I think if you put out a few episodes and established it as a "legit" podcast, they might want to do a brief interview or something. Idk idk!

I just mentioned this in the other post, but for the sake of keeping things in one place, here are my ideas.

- media roundup (interviews and appearances from the last week/two weeks)
- fic/icon/vid/macro/gif recs
- dramatic readings of both good and bad fic
- episodes dedicated to entire contestants - "Allison Love," "Anoop Love," "Matt Love," etc.
- Pre-Idol episodes, where we discuss Brand New Shoes, Adam in The Ten Commandments, etc.
- "call-in" discussions with multiple people, i.e. "Today we're talking about who of the top 36 should have made it to the top 13. 6 people give us names of contestants that should have made the finals."
- tour updates - maybe we can have "correspondents" (for lack of a better term) at various tour stops to record conversations/interviews they have with fans who are waiting to meet the contestants

P.S. I would love, love, love to be on the show as often as you'll have me. I have Skype, Audacity, and a good microphone from when I contributed to PotterCast, so I'd be ready to go any time!

You contributed to PotterCast? Who might you be? lol I love when my fandoms collide! (Though, I haven't listened to PC in months).

I haven't contributed to PotterCast in months! I was (technically "am," but we've been inactive for a while) a member of the editing team who puts together Scribbulus, the essays section on TLC. On PoterCast we used to do a 5 minute segment called Scribby 5 where we talked about that month's essays. I was on that part.
