I've seen a few blondes that can pull off thick dark eyeliner but it's rare. That's a look best left to people with dark hair.

Personally, I spend way to much money on make up and time putting it on. But it's so worth it.

Liquid foundation -> Powder foundation (I've found it makes the liquid look more natural when combined properly and makes it easier for me to find a matching color to my regular skintone) -> MAC Mineral Skin Finish (best thing ever invented, it makes you glow without being obvious)

After that it's eyes. I usually use like five different eye shadows and blend like crazy. Then liquid eyeliner for the top and the soft stick kind for under my eye. Then mascara.

Also, use good quality brushes. They make even the make up you get at the grocery store work so much better.

the one thing ive never liked is liquid foundation. it always feels so heavy the times ive tried it.

I've probably used every type of foundation the grocery store has to find one that isn't to heavy for me but also actually gives me coverage.

And the powder foundation on top helps me feel it less when I touch my face which is another perk.

Totally agree on quality brushes making all the difference. I made the mistake recently of letting a friend borrow my insanely huge, luxe powder brush and when she returned it to me days later CAKED in makeup, I cried in front of her and threw it back, LMAO. She bought me a new one.
