WHAT: Elena tries to fill in the gaps while Reno is away. Rude, as usual, is the one who suffers the most.

Rude considered himself an early riser, but he even he wasn't usually awake until six am unless he had a specific reason. So, when Elena sneaked into the apartment, he was still fast asleep. Eventually, the sounds from the other room did rouse him, but he remained in bed half-asleep, since he just assumed that Reno had come home early. It did seem strange that Reno had spent so little time away when he'd said he'd be away a few days, but Rude wasn't about to try and figure out what Reno was thinking this time. If he'd cooled off enough to come home, then that was a good thing in Rude's books.

When the door swung open, Rude sat up and rubbed his hand back over his head. However, the moment he heard a woman's voice he froze and slowly let his gaze wander to the bit of light coming through the door. Other than a pair of boxers, which were hidden by the blankets Rude was completely naked, without even his sunglasses for protection. Without his suit on, it was now quite clear just how muscular Rude was. However, Rude's eyes hadn't ( ... )

Elena watched, and waited patiently for his answer. There were just so many different ways that people liked their eggs. She'd been made of enough fail lately, she wanted to get at least one thing right ( ... )

Rude pulled his hand away from his face and was surprised to see that Elena hadn't left the room yet. Not only was she still standing in the doorway, but she was obviously staring at his body and spending a rather time doing it as well. Rude wasn't used to being so closely scrutinized and he shifted awkwardly while giving Elena a bland look ( ... )

Elena leaned back against the door briefly after she pulled it closed. The view had been somewhat wasted on her. Seeing Rude half-naked was somewhere in the realm of seeing your brother half-naked. The vast majority of Reggio Calabria's female population could have appreciated it on a whole other level. Imaginations would've ran wild...

But from a strictly aesthetic point of view? Elena did have an opinion. "Freakin' hot." She grinned to herself and felt just a touch of warmth in her face. But by the time she got to the kitchen, her mind was only on breakfast ( ... )
