Where: Their apartment.

Ed opened the door after getting home took forever.

"Hey Al, I'm home." The absence of light only took a moment to notice. "Weird, headquarters still had power when I left." He shut and locked the door behind him, and threw his coat onto the rack next to it.

"Hello brother." Al said, still half in the fridge. "The office I was in was out when I left. The power's been acting weird for a while."

Pulling a second container out, Al set it on the counter and went to greet his brother.

"And since we don't have the stove, we have old Chinese food."

"Great..." Ed answered, mostly unenthusiastic. "And cold, too..."

"I wonder if this arm might be able to heat it up?" Ed placed his left arm over the metallic replacement that served as his right.

Al trusted his brother with his life. Honestly he did. But that did not mean he always trusted the abilities of Ed's arm.

"It's not that bad brother!" He said, trying to think of a way to change the subject.

"Do you think one of us should call the power company and see what happened?"
