At the sight of Syaoran’s blood the flame flickered again as he watched the other protected him. He waited until the other student distracted the teacher before moving again. If Reborn became unbalanced, the boy would inched towards the backside again, and hopefully Reborn’s blind spot. Tsuna had to find away to get that gun away from his new teacher.

In a strange moment of madness Tsuna jumped in the fight and went for the hand with the gun. Coming in from the side, he aimed to grab the arm and put it into a lock; if he kept the arm straight the gun couldn’t be angled to hit him. Hopefully Syaoran could think what the next thing to do was, because honestly he had no idea.

Syaoran's tackle was easy to pass up with just a simple step beside, but if Tsuna thought that it was going to be easy to lock Reborn's arm he had another thing coming. Before he would know what to do as soon as one of his hands touched Reborn's arm, Tsuna was in Reborn's arms with the barrel of a gun against a temple.

"Now what will you do Syaoran?"

As Syaoran saw that Reborn had sidestepped, he pulled out his gun and spun around again.

He pointed the gun at Reborn's head, right in between the eyes, but there was no use. He could easily pull the trigger before Reborn...however, that defeated the purpose of the exercise.

Syaoran's hand never moved, arm outstretched. Blood covered the bottom half of his face from Reborn's strike. The expression never changed. He knew he'd lost, that much was obvious.

It was to be expected from his Sensei, however. Fighting to kill was the only way to win, and Syaoran wasn't going to do that.

Tsuna sighed, if it was from happiness that it was finally over or that team Syaoran had lost was anyones guess.

Brown eyes darted between the two unsure of what was going to happen next.

Dropping the gun he had aimed at Tsuna's temple to the side his other arm wrapped around Tsuna's waist for a while, until he realized and then stepped back completely. "....You lost. Syaoran how do you expect to protect? I'm disappointed in you obviously you need to re-evaluate the way you fight."

With that Reborn shook his head and ruffled Tsuna's hair in silent appology before he moved to grab his jacket slinging it over his shoulder and then of course, his bag. "I'll see you soon to start your personal training." Reborn informed Tsuna before he left the garden and left the two boys alone.

Syaoran couldn't bring himself to tell his Sensei that he wasn't going to fight to kill during a simple exercise. It would only make the man more disappointed.

To Syaoran's slight relief (though it wasn't apparent), Reborn was one of the strongest people in the city. Since the boy had made it that long without intending to cause damage, he was a little more confident in himself now.

HE said nothing to Tsuna, either. How was he supposed to apologize for letting his charge--even a temporary one--get a gun to his temple?
