WHO: Hokuto Umeda lightanotherone, MATT lungrot and anyone else who's interested. WHAT: Having a few drink and possible dancing. WHERE: Babylon, an underground gay bar. WHEN: Late evening
The only reason Risotto had agreed to going out at all was because he really needed a drink. That, and he wanted some alone time with Prosciutto. Kai was valuable to have around, but sometimes she was worse than Pesci.
"I really wish you didn't have such an aversion to public transit, you know that? Walking everywhere gets a bit tiring," he muttered, glaring at his companion. At least the bar wasn't terribly far away, the silver-haired man giving a relieved sigh as it came into view.
"Bite me, you know I hate it. If you'd get us a car, we could do a bit more," Prosciutto snarled playfully as he wrapped an arm about the shoulders of his friend and lover. At least he felt safe leaving Kai behind, unlike with Pesci or any of the others. She was a good girl, after all.
"Sardinia was piss as usual, and I really could use this...thanks for coming out with me," he sighed, giving a nod to the bouncer as they were allowed past.
"Yeah, yeah, once we get more money coming in...We can try and get a, uh, 'decent' car," he said with a bit of a laugh, "I figured you had a hell of a time. I don't mind coming out drinking with you." He slipped his arm around Prosciutto's waist before adding in a lower tone, "I know it'll get me laid, too."
Prosciutto sighed and rolled his eyes at Risotto's remark. Always the sex with this one...not that the assassin minded. The sexual side of Risotto was simply...well it was amazing. And he couldn't be happier. "Just try not to spend too much money. We're still on a budget here."
Once they got to the bar, Prosciutto ordered himself a Fuzzy Naval, wanting something fruity after all that dry nonsense in Sardinia. "You know, for all the tourism Sardinia gets, it really is nothing but desert and ruins...I think our boys left the island and are probably in France now."
Here Matt had expected one of those run-down looking cabs to pick him up, an affordable alternative to designated drives and getting behind the wheel while tanked. To say he did a bit of a double-take when the sedan rolled up was an understatement, even more so when he'd realized that it even had it's own chauffeur.
Now climbing out of the back seat, his own generic-brand cigarette tucked between chapped lips (he was never fond of that fancy shit ; could barely stand menthol, nevermind cloves), the redhead stretched. Dark lavender smears haunted the hollows of his eyes, tell-tale signs of sleep deprivation and nights of glowing screens, and maybe something else. He nodded at Umeda, exhaling a trail of smoke and watching as it coiled around his head, faded in the fresh night air.
"So this is the place, huh." Interesting, interesting.
Umeda shut the car door behind Matt, and the driver drove away. He then looked at Matt then to the rather plain looking building in front of them.
"Mmhm," he nodded, "Not much to look at on the outside, but once you inside you'll see what I like about it. You tend to forget about shit when you're in there."
Hokuto walked up to the bouncer, motioning for Matt to follow him.
Snuffing the cigarette beneath the heel of his boot, the redhead shrugged. Don't judge a book by it's cover and all that shit, he figured ; at least the bass rhythm reverberating from behind closed walls sounded good enough. And if a guy who could afford a fucking audi for the night favoured it, then he could only guess it wasn't a complete shithole, either. One way or the other, it didn't really matter ; Matt was never a particularly picky guy.
"Don't got much that needs forgetting, but I can see what you mean." Having followed Umeda in, it wasn't long before goggle-covered eyes were assaulted by bright lights and color, the bass practically shaking the ground beneath his feet. If he hadn't caught on to the older man's subtleties earlier, then the whole place pretty much clarified it for him ; gay bar, hello~. It didn't bother him, either.
The place had three floors, the first and main floor held the dance flor and bar. The second floor was more of a cat walk circling the dance floor with small areas to lounge about on plush sofas. The third floor, however, was probably the reason for 70% of all gay stereotypes and usually reeked of sex.
Dino was a little worried about coming out by himself and not taking Yamamoto with him. But, he had to watch the sushi resturant and then had other matters to attend to. Giving Yamamoto his personal space was important to Dino, so he had decided to go a head and come with the other males that were going to this club.
Stepping out he for once was in a more laid back attire of what he usually wore. He had a pair of kakhi's and a white tank-top with his jacket with the wool on the collar on. He just chuckle and rubbed a hand through his blond hair as he noticed a few men gathering as he stood straighter. Let go of stuff and just have fun.. He reminded himself.
Umeda looked back over his shoulder as he heard a small greeting. He saw Dino approaching him and smirked. "So you made it. Lovely. Come on in, darling."
With that said, Umeda, dressed in a slim-fit black tee-shirt and a rather flattering pair of leather pants, stepped up to the bouncer. "Good evening, Mike. These two are with me."
The man apparently named Mike nodded to Hokuto, then opened the large steel door behind him. When the door open a wall of pure bass beat struck Umeda, Matt and Dino like a solid wall. Inside lights flashed over a dance floor that was so crowded, from above it would have looked like a black square. The bar off to the left was teeming with clu goers, trying to catch a bartenders attention or trying to catch someone else attention. One other thing about the place that stood out was the fact, that after you realized it, there were, for the most part, only men here.
"...Oh." Dino's cheeks flushed and he smiled goofily as he looked to Umeda and hen to Matt not sure what to say. He hadn't even guessed that the place they were going to was like this. It wasn't that it bothered him, but he hadn't really clarified a relationship with Yamamoto and he didn't want to hurt the other.
You've done enough to hurt him.... Dino reminded himself. Placing on a smile he just followed Umeda and vowed not to drink enough to be out of control. It wasn't that he didn't trust himself...But, it was his first time in a place like Babylon. It was the type of place...Maybe later he could bring others to if he liked it enough.
"Cool is one way to put it," Umeda said with a small laugh. He then started to make his way through the throngs of bodies, making his way to the bar. As he went, he nodded to people he recognized, an kept an eye on Matt and Dino to be sure they were following him.
Once he reached the bar, Hokuto squeezed himself in among the others seated there and called over a bar tender.
Dino shrugged and pointed at his drink, "I haven't had enough of these in my system to even dance." Waving at Matt he shrugged, "Take him out I am sure he wants to go." Dino was a little nervous about going out on the dancefloor at the moment. This was just his first time to be here and Yamamoto wasn't there. If he's not here...Maybe I shouldn't be either... At least that was the feeling Dino got in the pit of his stomach
( ... )
Yamamoto walked to the club that Dino had described and walked into it. It was loud and not really to his liking, but he figured he would try something atleast once. He was okay with crowds and loud noises, but this. Maybe it was just too much of a weird situation. Not only that, but Yamamoto wasn't necessarily confident in his dancing skills. Maybe he could convince Dino to go do something else...
Walking around, he found the other quickly.
"Hey," He said with a grin, trying to hide that he really didn't want to dance or anything.
Standing up he looked around catching Umeda's eye as he waved his arm sliding around Yamamoto's waist. This was too quick for he and Yamamoto to be some place like this at the stage in whatever it was that they had. "Let's go somewhere else?" He suggested gently his lips brushing Yama's earlobe.
Yamamoto blushed, wondering what had gotten into the other like this. Wondering where they would go, he pushed him back a bit and wrapped an arm around him gently.
"Go where?" He said innocently, kind of hoping it was outside.
